Purpose of the App

ParentEase is an AI-powered parenting support and coaching tool. It helps parents understand their child's moods and behavior patterns through AI-based mood tracking, behavioral summaries, and coaching-oriented suggestions.

⚠️ Important: This app does not offer medical, psychiatric, or psychological advice. It is not a substitute for professional medical consultation or diagnosis.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the App. By using ParentEase, you confirm that:
• You are legally competent
• You are the legal guardian of the children whose data you provide
• You accept these Terms

User Responsibilities

You agree to:
• Use the App solely for lawful and coaching-related purposes
• Ensure that all information entered is accurate and up to date
• Maintain the security of your account
• Be fully responsible for all content you upload or input, including child-related data

Subscriptions & Payments

ParentEase offers free trials and various subscription-based plans (monthly/yearly), billed via the Apple App Store.
• Payments are processed securely through Apple
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the renewal date
• Anoop does not directly manage or store payment data

Coaching-Only Nature

All recommendations and insights provided by the App are intended as coaching advice only. They are generated using AI trained on general parenting frameworks.

This App does not provide:
• Medical or mental health treatment
• Therapy
• Diagnoses of any kind

For health concerns, always consult a licensed professional.

Data & Privacy

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a modern backend service. We take all reasonable measures to protect personal and child-related data.

Auto-Renewable Subscription Terms

Subscription Plans Available:
• Starter (Free): 1 child profile, 10 advice requests, 2 decisions, 2 goals, 1 analysis (first week)
• Monthly Basic ($2.99/month): Up to 3 children, 50 advice requests/month, 5 decisions/month, 5 goals/month
• Monthly Pro ($4.99/month): Up to 6 children, 100 advice requests/month, 15 decisions/month, 15 goals/month
• Yearly Pro ($29.99/year): Up to 10 children, 150 advice requests/month, 30 decisions/month, 30 goals/month

Auto-Renewal:
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Account Settings after purchase

Free Trial:
• Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when purchasing a subscription
• Free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation:
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple App Store account settings
• Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds will be provided for the unused portion of the current billing period

Refunds:
• Refund requests must be submitted through Apple's App Store refund process
• We do not directly process refunds - all refunds are handled by Apple
• Refund eligibility is determined by Apple's policies and local laws

Price Changes:
• We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice
• Price changes will be communicated through the App or via email
• Continued use after price changes constitutes acceptance of new pricing

Billing and Payment Terms

Payment Processing:
• All payments are processed securely through Apple's App Store
• We do not store or have access to your payment information
• Payment methods accepted: All payment methods supported by Apple App Store

Billing Cycle:
• Monthly subscriptions: Billed monthly on the same date as initial purchase
• Yearly subscriptions: Billed annually on the same date as initial purchase
• Starter plan: Free with no billing cycle

Failed Payments:
• If payment fails, your subscription may be suspended until payment is resolved
• You will be notified of failed payments through Apple's system
• Access to premium features will be restored once payment is successful

Usage Limits and Reset Policy

Usage Limits:
• Each subscription plan has specific limits on children profiles, advice requests, decisions, and goals
• Starter plan limits are lifetime (do not reset)
• Paid plan limits reset monthly on your billing date

Limit Enforcement:
• You will be notified when approaching usage limits
• Additional features will be locked when limits are reached
• Upgrading your plan will immediately increase your limits

Data Retention:
• Your data is retained according to our Privacy Policy
• Cancelling subscription does not immediately delete your data
• You can request data deletion through our support channels

Apple App Store Requirements

App Store Compliance:
• This app is distributed through Apple's App Store and must comply with Apple's App Store Review Guidelines
• By downloading this app, you agree to Apple's App Store Terms of Service
• Apple is not responsible for the content, functionality, or use of this app

In-App Purchases:
• All subscription purchases are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system
• Apple handles all payment processing and billing for subscriptions
• We do not have access to your payment information or billing details

Subscription Management:
• You can manage your subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings
• Apple provides tools to view, modify, and cancel subscriptions
• We cannot directly modify or cancel your subscription - this must be done through Apple

Apple's Role:
• Apple acts as the payment processor and subscription manager
• Apple may collect and process your payment information in accordance with their privacy policy
• Apple's terms of service govern the payment and subscription aspects of this app

Intellectual Property

All content, branding, text, and design within the App are the property of Anoop.

You may not:
• Reproduce or redistribute any content from the App
• Modify or reverse engineer any part of the App

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App without notice for:
• Violations of these Terms
• Unauthorized use
• Or any activity we deem harmful or unlawful

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law:
• Anoop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App
• You use the App at your own discretion and risk

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after changes implies your acceptance.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be resolved under UAE jurisdiction.
